The Folly of the Cross

The Corinthians professed to be followers of Christ, but had become arrogant and prideful. This is a contradiction as the Gospel leads to humility not arrogance. In these verses Paul explains why the message of the cross is not reason to become arrogant. After all, the word of the cross is folly to the world. However, to those who are being saved, it is the power of God.
