Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

We believe the mission of the Church is the Great Commission, and we take that mission very seriously. It is our responsibility and privilege to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and “make disciples of all nations.” We believe becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ is in the best interest of every individual, and brings glory and honor to God
Not only do we strive to achieve this mission locally, but in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ we want to make disciples of “ALL NATIONS.” To this end, we support Christian missions both here in North America and throughout the world.
While we financially support many ministries, we believe it is not enough to merely offer financial support. It is also imperative that we invest our lives in the disciple-making process. We accomplish this through dedicating our time and talent to proclaim the Gospel both locally and abroad. We offer our members many opportunities to get involved with various local and regional ministries, while also hosting an international mission trip at least once a year.
If you have a heart for missions, and a desire to tell others about the love, forgiveness, mercy, and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, join us here at Eastern Oaks as we strive to, “Go therefore and MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Yugo Ministries
Through our partnership with YUGO Ministries, we have the opportunity to practice the Great Commission in the Baja Peninsula of Mexico. During the year, we support the work of YUGO through our financial gifts. However, once a year our volunteer mission team visits Ensenada, Mexico, where we build a home for a family in need. This ministry gives us the opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ in a tangible way.
