The Two Trees

Genesis 2:4-17 provides us with further information about the creation of Adam and Eve, the first human beings. Specifically, we learn that they are placed in the Garden of Eden with two trees: the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and Evil. It is this second tree that we want to focus on today. Why even place the tree in the Garden if God knew it was going to be a problem? The answer is extremely important to our understanding of God and how we relate to Him.
