The first two verses of the Bible serve as much more than a simple introduction. Genesis 1:1-2 reveal amazing truths about the identity of the one true God. While this was important information for the Hebrew people leaving behind the pagan and polythiestic beliefs of Egypt, this information is just as important for us today.
