The Severity of Sin

Genesis 6:1-8 is one of the most difficult passages in the entire book...maybe in all of Scripture. There are many opinions on the identity of the "sons of God" and the Nephilim. While we will answer some of these question to the best of our ability, the big picture is quite clear. The sinfulness of man is without limits and sin grieves the heart of God. If nothing else, this passage should demonstrate the heinous nature of sin.
